A Roseville apartment complex remains under investigation after a three-alarm fire was reported Tuesday evening. Roseville Fire crews responded to reports that a fire erupted at the Heritage Park Apartment complex. Fire crews discovered smoke and flames at the eight-unit apartment building and immediately began fighting the blaze that extended into the attic. A total of nine engines, two ladder trucks and four chief officers worked to fight the fire. Although crews were able to control the flames in 28 minutes, firefighters remained on the scene to assist in the investigation. Four apartments suffered fire, smoke and water damage and one resident was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Program, as well as the American Red Cross were on hand providing support for the residents who were displaced for the evening. The Rocklin Fire Department, South Placer Fire District and the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District provided additional coverage throughout Roseville during the incident.
