What if today was the last day on earth?

-A +A
Lilyne Rutherford of North Highlands: “If it was my last day on earth, I’d probably make a video with my friends of whatever was happening, just for no reason.”
Philip Wood/Press Tribune
Carlos Osuna of Lincoln: “I don’t know. It’s hard to say because the world’s not going to end. People can believe whatever they want, but I think scientists would have said something if it was really happening — other than just having Hollywood making a movie of it.”
Philip Wood/Press Tribune
Bella Karragiannidis of Roseville: “I would probably just enjoy my family as much as possible. That would be the most important thing, making sure you didn’t leave anything unsaid. After that, I would just reflect on my life.”
Philip Wood/Press Tribune
Bob Sorensen of Sheridan: “It’s too unrealistic to even think about. Even people who want to believe that something is going to happen on Dec. 21 should know that it probably would mean something changes, not that we’re all just suddenly dust. After all, it could be the ‘fiscal cliff.’”
Philip Wood/Press Tribune
Brook Robinson of Penryn: “I’d spend the day with loved ones. I wouldn’t need to do anything crazy. I’ve already been skydiving and lived my teenage years well.”

With the Mayan calendar supposedly spelling doomsday for Dec. 21, The Press Tribune dropped by the farmers' market at The Fountains in Roseville on Tuesday and asked people one question: If today was your last day on earth, what would you do with it?
