Sammy Hagar’s signature rum will be a mainstay at the restaurant, along with seven other premium rums handpicked by the rock ‘n’ roll icon. Pease said customers can expect to see a fun, high-energy tropical theme throughout the venue. Hagar himself with be the first performer to christen the new hot spot during a private show on Saturday, Sept. 15. More performers will follow. Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar and Grill is expected to host top musical talent from the region three nights a week. A number of one-of-a-kind guitars signed by Hagar will also be sold at the restaurant.
