Jordan Brown and the Timberwolve emerged with a 51-49 victory at home to advance to the regional finals Saturday in Santa Clara. The Timberwolves will face Sheldon in the finals in a rematch of their section title game. Delis Boggs-Smith helped Woodcreek slow down De La Salle's Connor O’Dea Tuesday night, holding him scorless in the second half. After a slow start, Roberts hit a pair of big free throws to clinch the win late. The Spartans pulled within one possession with 10 seconds left, but couldn't tie the game. Jackson Hughes had two clutch 3-pointers for Woodcreek in the fourth quarter. Jordan Brown led the charge with 23 points, 13 of which came in the second half. Boggs-Smith added nine points. Brown added 16 rebounds, five assists and seven blocks against the Spartans. Woodcreek improved to 31-2 this year with the win. Brown and co. seek their first NorCal title since a Division II championship in 2003. Brown will look to claim another title after helping Woodcreek clinch the section title two weeks ago in Stockton. The Black Mob student section was packed for Tuesday's game. Tyrell Roberts and the T-Wolves are one of only two public schools left in the hunt for an Open Division State title.
