Woodcreek's Jordan Brown was constantly double- and triple-teamed Saturday in the finals. But Brown managed to tally a new Open Division State Championship game record 35 points. Jackson Hughes rises up for a jumper against the Knights. The Timberwolves graduate six seniors from this year's roster, including Hughes who will attend Menlo College next fall. Woodcreek became the only public school team to ever reach the Open Division finals. Bishop Montgomery held a 20 point lead early in the first half. The Timberwolves cut that deficit to five late in the game, but couldn't manage to pull even. Kyle Kern's 3-pointer was clutch down the stretch for the T-Wolves. The team's fan section, the Black Mob, was packed for the game.
