For 30 years the volunteer Folsom Lake Trail Patrol has been patrolling the lake on horseback offering assistance to those in need and calling rangers when necessary. Membership in the 30 years has grown to around 70 volunteers that patrol at different times, usually between 4-6 hours during the week.
