A 34-year-old Sacramento woman was arrested Wednesday for fraudulently using the bank card of an elderly Roseville woman she was caring for.

Roseville Police detectives arrested Farrah Fawcett Lavulo on suspicion of making unauthorized purchases and withdrawals totaling more than $1,000 to obtain cash, meals and prepaid jail telephone credits for her incarcerated boyfriend.

The victim, a 69-year-old woman who was using in-home care providers while she recovered from surgery, first noticed the theft when she saw unauthorized transactions on her debit and credit cards.

Lavulo is being held in the Placer County Jail on suspicion of identity theft and defrauding an elder or dependent adult. Her bail is set at $20,000.
