Granite Bay native in New York dance festival
Granite Bay native Molly Griffin, who attends The Juilliard School, will perform at New York City's popular "Fall for Dance" 12-day festival in September. Juilliard dancers will perform in Pam Tanowitz's "Fortune," which is set to live contemporary music. Griffin graduated from Granite Bay High School in 2009. She spent a month in Tanzania this summer for the Arusha Arts Initiative, which uses dance, drama and music to empower young people.
