City seeks name for new park

Construction will begin in 2012
-A +A

Roseville residents have a voice in the naming of a new city park on Nettleton Drive that will be under construction in 2012.

The unnamed park is currently known as site W-53, a 9-acre school and park site in the West Roseville Specific Plan. The park design has been presented to the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission, and is posted on the city’s website at www.roseville.ca.us/parksintheworks.

Park names must be submitted on the appropriate form and received by the City Clerk’s Department by 5 p.m. Friday, July 8.

The city’s Park Naming Subcommittee will review all suggestions and make recommendations to the commission and Roseville City Council, who will approve the final name.
