-A +A

Woodcreek High School students need votes in a Water Spots video contest sponsored by the Regional Water Authority, Sacramento Bee Media in Education and local water providers.

Nearly 90 videos of 30-second public service announcements on outdoor water efficiency were submitted. Entries from five Woodcreek teens made the final cut. Those finalists include Bobby Cary, Riley Murtagh, Gerald Snow, Bailey Jensen and Sebastian Douglas, who all have teacher Mark Hajewski.

Voting ends Wednesday, April 25. The grand prize winner will be announced Sunday, April 29 on Raley Field's Jumbotron before a Sacramento River Cats game. The winning spot becomes part of the Regional Water Authority's 2012 Blue Thumb water-efficiency campaign. To vote, visit http://guide.sacbee.com/2012/04/10/5247/water-spots-voting.html.
