Woodcreek preps hold baseball clinic for little leaguers
Woodcreek High School’s baseball program reached out to its future, and in the process its players revisited their past Saturday when the Timberwolves held a clinic for more than 100 Woodcreek Little League players at Mahany Field.
Varsity and JV players conducted pitching, catching, hitting drills and more and took a one-on-one approach with the youngsters.
“I was nothing but proud of our high school players in how they worked with the kids. They were personally engaged, talking to them,” said Erol Kaslan, president of the Woodcreek Baseball Boosters. “As far as the Little League players, there were a lot of smiles, and it seemed like they were having a lot of fun. I was impressed with the level of play and instruction.”
