Woodcreek Little League's Junior all-star team, which scored 111 runs in seven games in rolling to the District 54 title, was held to one Saturday.

Two Tri-City pitchers, including Logan Webb, combined for 15 strikeouts in a 4-1 victory over Woodcreek at C-Bar-C Park in Citrus Heights.

Woodcreek manager James Penn said he was surprised by his team's performance.

"He was good," Penn said of Webb. "But we laid over and let him do what he wanted to do."

Tri-City advances to the winners' bracket final at 8 p.m. Monday. Woodcreek plays at 8 p.m. Sunday in the double-elimination tournament.
