Woodcreek High School is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of individuals whose act of vandalism caused more than $6,000 in damage last week.

The incident occurred between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday night and Friday morning, according to Mark O’Hair, Woodcreek’s administrator in charge of athletics/boosters. Windows were shot out in the athletic vans, causing almost $3,000 in damage.

The individuals also entered the swimming pool area, cut the lane lines, ripped out the lifeguard towers and threw them into the pool, O’Hair said. The shed was broken into and the water polo uniforms stolen.

“Athletically, it just devastates us,” O’Hair said Monday. “We’re putting out this reward. We hope the community helps out. Hopefully, somebody heard something.”

A report was filed with the Roseville Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call O’Hair at 771-6565, ext. 4013.
