The Woodcreek High School Group Stunt Cheerleading Team practiced every day leading up to nationals in hopes of winning, and their hard work paid off when they became national champions, earning the nickname “The Fab Five.”

The Woodcreek High School Group Stunt Cheerleading Team attended the USA High School Spirit Nationals at the Anaheim Convention Center March 15-17. They competed in the Group Stunt Advanced Division, which comprises four to five girls who make up one stunt group.

Woodcreek's Group Stunt Team took first place out of 47 teams, winning the national title. The team members are Katelynn Camacho (flyer/senior), Danielle Crocker (main base/junior), Clair Hawkins (secondary base/senior), Arriana Stout (front spot and secondary base/junior) and Kendall Walsh (backspot/junior).

It had been a rough season leading up to nationals for the Woodcreek Group Stunt Team. Hawkins, a senior on the team, went through shoulder surgery and physical therapy to repair a torn ligament early in the season.  Then, a week before leaving for nationals, the team lost one of its original members. Luckily, Stout stepped in to fill the empty position.
