Woodcreek struggled to get its game going Thursday night, dropping a three-game match to Colfax 25-17, 25-15, 25-15. “Our team is young but very eager to learn,” said Woodcreek coach Brian Jew. “The girls enjoy the game and want to improve, they are a very cohesive group and have very high expectations.” Middle hitter Sarah Peterson had a solid game for the Timberwolves with six kills, and senior setter Kristin Taylor delivered 23 assists.
