Woman killed by vehicles ID’d

On Wednesday, the Placer County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Unit identified the woman who was struck and killed by several vehicles on Interstate 80 last week. The woman, identified via fingerprints, was Jodi Jenell Jones, 26, of Sacramento, according to a Placer County Sheriff’s Department press release. Jones’ family reported her missing on July 20. On July 21,at around 4:45 a.m., Jones was walking in the number three lane on Interstate 80, just east of Douglas Boulevard in Roseville when she was struck by several vehicles, according to CHP spokesman David Martinez.
