William Jessup honors Roseville residents

Three local students earn scholarships

Three Roseville residents were recently honored during William Jessup University’s annual celebratory chapel session. The event awarded 43 students with various scholarship opportunities totaling more than $73,000 dollars. Havah Postolsky, a public policy student, received a $1,500 WJU Friends and Neighbors Inspired Scholarship for a student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 who is re-entering college after a prolonged absence. Music major Brittany Ramos received a $750 Alfa Craig Memorial Scholarship for a musically gifted student of highest character. David Schwartz, also a music major, received a $500 Edward and Grace Ruder Memorial Scholarship, also for a musically gifted student. ~ Staff report
