It is once again time for Wild Bill Tattoo’s “Tattoo-A-Thon,” benefiting UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

From 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 23, 20 dedicated volunteers will donate their time and tattooing and piercing expertise, with all proceeds going the hospital, including sales from gift certificates, jewelry and shirts.

Last year, Wild Bill’s raised more than $15,000, tattooing and piercing more than 100 clients. This year’s goal is to top that.

People from all over came to help with the cause last year, many getting tattoos of baby footprints and children’s portraits. Now in its 12th year, “Tattoo-A-Thon” has raised $141,000.oo for the Children’s Hospital. The hospital named part of its new unit  after the tattoo shop.

In the past year, more than 80,000 children were cared for at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Wild Bill’s Tattoo is at 205 Vernon St., Roseville. For more information, call (916) 783-9090.
