Last day to register to vote

There’s no more time to delay — today is your last chance to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election. Registration forms may be picked up at all post offices and libraries in Placer County. Voter registration forms are also available for pick-up until 12 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the outside entrance of the Placer County Office of Elections. Completed forms will be processed Tuesday morning. Completed registration forms can be placed in the secure, drive-up drop-off box in front of the elections office.

Placer County public health officials urge that the best way to prevent the flu is ...  to get a flu shot! Certain high-risk groups, such as those 50 and older, young children, people with chronic health conditions and pregnant women are especially vulnerable. There are two clinics in Roseville this week, so don’t put it off any longer.

When/where: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, 1 Medical Plaza Drive

When/where: 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 26, at Salvation Army, 100 Lincoln St.
