Salute to Veterans pancake breakfast

Assemblywoman Beth Gaines will be saluting local veterans during her inaugural Salute to Veterans pancake breakfast. Gaines and her staff will cook and serve a complimentary breakfast to veterans, active duty service members and their families.

Veterans Day celebration

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1487 will host a patriotic celebration, honoring Roseville’s veterans. Brigadier General Donald Currier of the California Army National Guard will serve as the ceremony’s keynote speaker and Congressman Tom McClintock is scheduled to speak. Bring photos of family and friends in their uniforms to share at the event. Lunch will be served after the ceremony.

Free access to city sports center, indoor pool

As a thank you to those who serve our country, the city of Roseville is providing free admission to veterans, military members and their families to the Roseville Sports Center and Mike Shellito Indoor Pool in honor of Veterans Day.

What: Free admission for vets, military members and families

When: Roseville Sports Center is open 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, the pool is open 7-11 a.m.

Where: Roseville Sports Center is at 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Mike Shellito Indoor Pool is at 10210 Fairway Drive

Cost: Free
