Pearl Harbor Day commemorated
Head down to Vernon Street in Roseville on Friday, Dec. 7, for a ceremony reflecting on the 71st anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. An officer of the Gold Trail Daughters of the American Revolution will lead the Pledge of Allegiance with several other members singing “The Star Spangled Banner” and handing out flags.

Granite Bay plays NorCal football playoff
Granite Bay was one of eight schools awarded a berth in the first CIF Northern California football playoffs. The Grizzlies will play St. Ignatius of San Francisco in the Division I contest, and the winner will advance to the CIF State Bowl Games the following weekend at The Home Depot Center in Carson.
