The magic continues outside with lit pathways, Candy Land Island, Snowflake Walk and a hot chocolate and cider gazebo. Proceeds go to California Garden, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to tell the story of plants and people native to California.

Cozy classics

What’s better than watching a movie with friends on a cold winter day? Stand Out Talent presents a movie screening double feature of two Christmas classics. “It’s a Wonderful Life” begins at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The 1946 black-and-white film starring James Stewart and Donna Reed serves as a reminder to be thankful for what you have. George Bailey, a depressed businessman, begins to wonder what it would be like if he never existed – that is, until a Christmas angel shows him how he has influenced those around him in a positive way. Following that, “A Christmas Story” begins at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. The 1983 comedy is a tribute to an “all-American” Christmas. Ralphie, a determined 9-year-old, does everything he can to convince his parents that a Red Ryder BB Gun is the ultimate gift.
