Two Sacramento men were arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of burglarizing cargo containers at Pasco Scientific, 10101 Foothills Blvd., on two consecutive days. At 8:03 a.m. Sunday morning, officers responded to an alarm at the manufacturing company. No one was around when officers arrived. A company representative responded and confirmed that several volt meters were missing from a cargo container. At 2:29 a.m. Monday morning, officers again responded to a burglary alarm at the plant. Officers found that a second cargo container had been forced open. Responding officers stopped a pickup truck that was driving away from the business. Officers found burglar’s tools inside the vehicle, according to police reports. The occupants of the pickup, Jeffrey John Bravo, 38, and Rene Gutierrez, 32, both of Sacramento, are suspected of committing both burglaries on consecutive days. They were booked on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and possession of burglar’s tools. Gutierrez was also arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine. Both men are currently being held in the Placer County Jail on $30,000 bail.
