-A +A
Two local elected officials will host a town hall meeting on how to keep and attract jobs in Placer County. Placer County Supervisor Rocky Rockholm and Assemblyman Ted Gaines, R-Roseville, hope to solicit ideas from the public during the meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the Timber Creek Ballroom, 7050 Del Webb Blvd. at Sun City Roseville. “I’ll be taking the suggestions and ideas from this town hall meeting back to the Capitol,” Gaines said. “Rocky and I will be working together to keep taxes low and keep good jobs right here in Roseville.” Residents can also suggest ideas at www.revitalizeplacer.com. “I urge everyone to visit the website and give Ted and I suggestions on how to fi our economy and get people back to work,” Rockholm said. The free event will include a complimentary continental breakfast. For more information, visit www.revitalizeplacer.com. ~ Staff report
