Sierra Valley Conference


Del Oro 48, Folsom 24
The Jr. Golden Eagles continue the quest for a perfect season. Del Oro had allowed just eight points all season before the Bulldogs posted this 24. 

American River 20, Oak Ridge 16
The Jr. Raiders narrowly pull out the win at Oak Ridge to advance.  In the regular season, American River was the only team to score against Del Oro, and the two will meet next week. 


Pee Wee

Del Oro 16, American River 14
The Jr. Golden Eagles pulled out the upset coming back late in the game to take the lead.  American River had the ball on the Del Oro 34 4.8 seconds left but did not score.  A pass completion left them short of the end zone as time ran out.  Round two has Del Oro as the visitor against Oak Ridge at Roseville.  In the regular season the Jr. Eagles won 18-12.

Oak Ridge 8, Folsom 6
In another Pee Wee upset the Jr. Trojans force their way into a battle against Del Oro.  Oak Ridge is the third seed while Del Oro is the No. 4.


Jr. Pee Wee

Del Oro 26, Granite Bay 0
Second-seeded Del Oro blasted the No. 3-seeded Jr. Grizzlies out of playoffs. Del Oro will face American River at Roseville.

American River 12, Woodcreek 6
The Jr. Raiders squeaked past Woodcreek and into round two.  Against Del Oro in regular season play American River took a 33-6 win at home.


Mighty Mite

Folsom 12, Roseville 6
The top- seeded Jr. Bulldogs were able to handle Roseville’s defensive game. Next up, Folsom will play third-seeded Oak Ridge.

Oak Ridge 24, Woodcreek 7
In a slight upset, the Jr. Trojans advance after beating Woodcreek.  In the regular season Woodcreek had won 6-0 giving them the second seed position in the playoffs.  The Jr. Trojans look to take another upset win against Folsom. In regular season play Folsom hold off Oak Ridge for  a 13-12 home victory.
