Details: Woodcreek’s eighth annual camp is slated for June 18-22 on campus. The camp is open to students entering grades 4-9 and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first four days and 9 to 12:30 p.m. on the final day. The gym will open at 8:30 a.m. each day for open shooting with supervision. Woodcreek coaches and players will run the camp, which will include age-group games and contests, daily awards for attitude and hustle, guest speakers and demonstrations, a T-shirt and individual evaluation.

Costs: $125 for pre-registration and $150 at the door. Families will receive a $25 discount for each added sibling.

Details: The 16th annual camps for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade will be held in two sessions: June 11-14 and June 25-28. The gym will open at 8:30 a.m. each day for supervised open shooting. The camp runs from 9-11 a.m. for kids in kindergarten through second grade and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for third- through eighth-graders. The camp, to be run by the Granite Bay girls and boys staffs, includes instruction, guest speakers, games and daily awards for attitude, hustle and contests.

Costs: $75 for kindergarten through second grade and $125 for third through eighth grade with a discount price of $200 for two family members and $280 for three.

Details: The Lady Timberwolves fundamental camps for students entering first through eighth grades is scheduled from June 11-15. First- through fifth-graders attend from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and sixth- through eighth-graders from 8:30 to 2 p.m. each day. The three-day camp is from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. daily from June 13-15. Areas of instruction will include shooting, footwork, post play, offensive skills, rebounding, team and individual defense, ball handling, passing, guard play, teamwork and attitude. The camps will be run by Woodcreek coaches and players.

Costs: For the weeklong camp, $65 for first- through fifth-graders and $125 for sixth-eighth. Costs for the three-day camp are $40 for first-fifth and $75 for sixth-eighth.

Details: Scheduled for the week of June 18-21 at the campus football stadium for boys entering second through eighth grades. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. June 18, and the camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon daily. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability and will receive instruction from Woodcreek coaches and players in fundamentals, ball skills, passing and receiving, individual and group defending and small-sided games. Each camper needs to bring a ball. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, and there will be a barbecue and awards ceremony on the final day.

Costs: $85 per player and $60 per sibling.

Details: Roseville’s annual camp, for girls entering grades 7-9, is scheduled for the week of July 9-13 at Moeller Gym on campus and will run from 9 a.m.-noon each day.

Details: British soccer camps, conducted by Challenger Sports, are scheduled the weeks of June 18-22 and July 30-Aug. 3 at Maidu Park. Camps being offered are mini soccer for boys and girls ages 4-6 (9-10:30 a.m. each day), half day for ages 6-12 (9 a.m.-noon) and goalkeeper training for ages 8-12 (10:30 a.m.-noon). The camps will feature daily tournament play and British coaches teaching foot skills, moves, juggling, tactical practices, sportsmanship and more. Campers will receive a T-shirt, soccer ball, giant soccer poster and skills performance evaluation. Those who register online at least 45 days before camp will receive a British soccer replica jersey.

Costs: $107 for mini soccer and goalkeeper training and $137 for half day.

Details: Jessup will be host to a Nike Basketball Overnight Camp from July 9-12 for kids ages 8-18. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the $410 cost. Day campers can attend for $310. A Competition Camp for kids 10-18 is scheduled from July 16-19. Cost is $200. Those who register by June 15 will receive $20 off. A Junior Skills Development Camp for kids 5-9 also is scheduled from July 16-19. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, basketball, certificate, evaluation, notebook and workout packet.
