Students make blankets for kids in need

Builders Club sends 11 blankets to Project Linus

The Builders Club at Silverado Middle School in Roseville recently completed a blanket-making project to benefit the local community. The 11 blankets went to Project Linus, a national organization that provides blankets to social agencies, such as police and fire departments, protective services and hospitals to distribute to local children. Builders Club is a national middle school service club, sponsored by Kiwanis International, that plans and implements projects that benefit both the local school and larger community. The Kiwanis Club of Roseville sponsors Silverado’s group. ~ Staff report
