May is Bike Month; clinic offers tips on commuting by bike
-A +A

The City of Roseville, in association with Smart Cycling, is offering a Smart Cycling Clinic at Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center Thursday.

In celebration of Bike Month, the clinic provides tips on how to safely and comfortably commute to work on a bike. Attendees can learn about the benefits of bicycling, necessary accessories, safe and effective bicycling techniques, route planning and how to participate in the Sacramento region’s Bike Month activities.

There will be door prizes, and bicycles are not needed at the training. A trained instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists will teach the session. Admission is free.

The clinic takes place from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the Café Conference Room at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, 1600 Eureka Road in Roseville. Please R.S.V.P. to diana.croon-white@kp.org or scott.r.vaughan@kp.org.
