Sierra students receive refurbished computers

-A +A
Forty very happy students got to make a stop at the Sierra College warehouse recently to pick up their own free refurbished computer. The computer give-away was made possible through a donation from the United Auburn Indian Community. With the funds received from the UAIC, the Sierra College Foundation was able to purchase refurbished computers from a nonprofit organization, Computers for Classrooms, Inc. and give them to students with financial need who do not have any computers at home. This year, the foundation was able to offer 40 computers, although there were 160 applicants.
