Spend money at the mall; one local school will win $5,000
-A +A
Shopping at the mall can help support your local school. One school will receive $5,000 through the “Give Back to School” program launched in early August at Westfield Galleria at Roseville. The funds will support arts and music, sciences, physical education, libraries and technology resources. The school designated for support will be chosen by Westfield shoppers. Families who do their back-to-school shopping at Westfield Galleria from now until Sept. 12 can vote for a school in their neighborhood by presenting their receipts to the Westfield Concierge desk. Each dollar spent counts as one point for their preferred school, and shoppers can earn additional points by “liking” Westfield Galleria at Roseville on Facebook. The school with the most points wins $5,000 and a celebration event. Shoppers can also help local students by donating new and gently used clothing or backpacks through a community partnership between Westfield Galleria at Roseville and KidsFirst. ~ Sena Christian
