School bulletin: PRIDE employee earns MBA from Drexel University
PRIDE worker gets MBA
Matt Fritsch received his master's of business administration from Drexel University during a commencement ceremony at Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento on June 23. Fritsch, 29, works for PRIDE Industries in Roseville.
In 2003, he suffered a mountain biking accident that left him confined to a wheelchair. More than 70 percent of people with spinal cord injuries are unemployed, but Fritsch found a job as a marketing specialist for PRIDE. The company provides manufacturing and service solutions to businesses and government agencies, while creating jobs for people with disabilities. Fritsch also travels nationally to compete in hand cycling events and triathlons.
