School Bulletin: American Montessori Elementary hosting fundraiser
Arts program seeks applicants
The California State Summer School for the Arts seeks high school students to apply for its 27th annual session to be held July 13 to Aug. 9, in Valencia. Each year, 500 students are selected to attend, based on their talent and creativity. The pre-professional training program covers seven disciplines: dance, music, theatre, visual arts, creative writing, film/video and animation. The program offers an opportunity for students to spend one month immersed in a creative laboratory, experiencing the daily life of a professional artist. Applications are due by Thursday, Feb. 28.
