Salvation Army gets $8,000 donation from Bayside Church
Salvation Army of Roseville received an $8,000 donation from Bayside Church on July 26 to go toward creating a multipurpose area at the local nonprofit organization's facility.
This project will be located behind the Salvation Army and serve as a space for activities, and as an overflow area for social services and church programs.
"We want to thank Bayside Church and its congregation for this incredible gift," said Salvation Army Roseville Corps Officer Lt. John Morrow, in a press release. "The donation will definitely help with the improvement of our back lot area. Our hope is that this back lot can be used by a variety of individuals and families from the south Placer County area."
Every week, more than 500 people go to the Salvation Army's Roseville location seeking assistance.
Bayside Church collected the funds through its "Whatever it Takes" campaign, which focuses in part on investing in local, high-impact ministries.
