FRIDAY NIGHT’S GAME

GRANITE BAY VS. OAK RIDGE, 7:30 p.m. at Sacramento State

About Oak Ridge: The Trojans (12-1) have run through the playoffs with one of the most balanced offenses in the area, averaging 180.8 yards rushing per game and 178.7 yards passing. Senior quarterback Jason Samuels has completed 60 percent of his passes this season for 2,290 yards and 26 touchdowns against six interceptions. With 2,350 yards rushing, including 886 yards and 11 touchdowns by junior Josh Wellman, it doesn’t get much more balanced than that.

Defensively, Oak Ridge is led by senior Zack Claiborne, who has a state-leading 25 of the Trojans’ 43 sacks. Senior Nick Gordon and junior Thomas Mahlman average 14.1 and 10.7 tackles.
