Bobby Runyan and Jason Philpot won the twin 50-lap Modified main events Saturday night in a rain makeup program at All American Speedway in Roseville.

There were 19 cars lined up for the first main. Runyan started second, took the lead on the third lap around the one-third-mile oval and won the checkered flag by .159 of a second over fast-closing Scott Winters, who turned the fastest lap of the race — at 84.026 mph — on lap 48.

Philpot won the second feature after Winters was disqualified. Philpot started on the pole and lost the lead to Winters on lap five. They ran 1-2 the rest of the way.

The disqualification moved Steve Cote into second place. Andy Field finished third in both races.

Winters set the top time in qualifying at 14.134 seconds. Philpot won the dash, and Rick Anable won the B main.

Mickey Owens capped a dominant night in the Street Stock division by winning the 35-lap main by a whopping 2.372 seconds over Chris Lambert, who led the first 15 laps before Owens drove by.

Owens was quickest in all three practice sessions and qualified No. 1 at 15.052 seconds. He started seventh in the nine-car feature.

Dave Silva won the dash, and Spencer Emerson claimed the heat.

Chris Paulson took the lead on the fifth lap in the Bomber main and drove to victory in the 35-lap race. Matt Camp placed second.

Cody Rickard was the top qualifier at 15.905 seconds. Eric Ray won the heat, and Chuck Leek and Joe Rhodes won the dash.
