Roseville's Sorensen stays hot on local First Tee circuit

Clare Sorensen of Roseville won another golf tournament on the The First Tee of Greater Sacramento circuit.

Sorensen shot a 2-over-par 74 to claim the overall girls championship at Auburn Valley Country Club. Last week, Sorensen won the girls 15-18 age group at Woodcreek Golf Club.

Sagee Palavivatana won the 15-18 division at Auburn Valley with a 77. Madelin Gedeon of Oakmont and Virgie Velasquez tied for second at 85.

Emilee Hoffman shot a 75 to win the girls 12-14 division by 13 strokes. Brittany O’Bryant was second at 88 and Kymberly Chann third at 92.

Austin Childress won the overall boys championship by shooting a 73.

Justin Raskin won the boys 16-18 title with a 75, one stroke better than Charles Pedone. Bryan Wise was third at 77.

Jeffrey Inouye-Wong’s 75 took the boys 14-15 crown. Mitch Markin and Connor Estrada each shot 78 to tie for second.

Winning the boys 12-13 championship was Joshua Sedeno with a 72. Austin Long was second at 79 and Bryan Baumgarten third with an 80.
