Federal authorities are looking for a local woman in connection to region-wide investigation of selling stolen goods on eBay. According to Loren Horwood of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, six suspects have been taken into custody — though an outstanding arrest warrant remains for 31-year-old Andrea Lynn Turner, of Roseville.

According to Herbert Brown, a special agent with the FBI, Turner is part of a “network of individuals fueled by limitless greed.”

Turner told reporters this week that, with the help of eBay, FBI investigators were able to uncover a “criminal organization” that has listed more than 17,000 stolen items for sale on the Internet since 2009. Individuals from Sacramento, Vacaville, Walnut Creek and Santa Barbara have all been charged and taken into custody. If Turner is captured and arraigned, she’ll be specifically charged with providing false statements to federal agents about some $50,000 in proceeds from the alleged conspiracy.

The case is being charged by United States Attorney Benjamin Wagner.
