Roseville West Little League?s 9/10 all-stars scored at least three runs in five innings and eliminated El Dorado Hills 18-8 in the losers? bracket final of the District 54 tournament Friday night at Richards Field.

Roseville West?s Jordyn Berry crushed his fourth and fifth home runs of the tournament.

El Dorado Hills cut into its deficit by scoring five runs in the fifth but gave up another seven runs in the last two innings.

El Dorado Hills finished third in the district overall. Manager Alfie Charles said the all-stars couldn?t have been a better group.

?We did well enough to advance to the final round, and I couldn?t be more proud of these kids,? Charles said. ?They just did a fantastic job and they should all ? we?re all really proud.?

Roseville West faces Woodcreek for the championship at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Attitudes have changed since Roseville West lost to Woodcreek 18-1 on Wednesday.

?I believe that we can beat them,? Berry said. ?Last time, we just weren?t playing as a team. Everybody was down and tired, and it?s just a different team when we?re not together.?

Manager Rich Fobbs was honest about his team?s position.

?If you were worried about playing us before, imagine what it will be like now,? Fobbs said. ?We?ve got nothing to lose.?
