Roseville turns out for Relay for Life

More than 25 teams with 300 participants and 50 cancer survivors gathered at Cooley Middle School last weekend for the Relay For Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The event began at 10 a.m. Saturday with cancer survivors kicking things off with the first lap around the Cooley track. The Relay for Life event began in Tacoma, Wash. in 1985 and today is the largest nonprofit fundraiser event in America. The Roseville event raised more than $62,000.
