A Roseville resident is about to get his 15 minutes of fame.

Chris Luna beat out the competition in an online voting contest to earn a spot on the TLC television show “Next Great Baker.” The results were announced earlier this month. The show’s third season premieres at 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26.

The show follows the 13 contestants as they battle it out in baking challenges. The winner gets $10,000, a feature in Redbook magazine and the chance to work alongside “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro at Carlo’s Bakery.

Luna is a sales associate and amateur baker. He’s also a husband and father of two.
