Roseville High volunteers hit the pavement for March of Dimes
Kylie Frost, left, Nikki Lukasko and Megan Roberts were up bright and early Saturday morning to draw attention to the pancake breakfast happening inside the Mistywood Independent Senior Living Community. They did so by donning sandwich boards decorated like dimes, drawing honks from drivers on Pleasant Grove Boulevard.
The girls, all 16, are members of Roseville High School’s Red Cross Club. Kylie said the club wanted to also support the pancake breakfast, which raised funs for March of Dimes, which helps mothers have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
“We just like to do a lot of community service, and we really wanted to get involved with Mistywood because we really like the organization, she said.”
