Roseville High basketball offers Tiger Junior Camp
By: Staff ReportsRoseville High School will hold its Tiger Basketball Junior Training Camp on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 3-4.
The camp will run from noon to 3 p.m. each day at Moeller Gymnasium on campus and is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8. Players will be divided by age and gender for the camp, which will focus on skill development the first day and scrimmages and games the second day.
Players will receive a camp T-shirt and a free pass to a Roseville High School game of their choice this season. Campers also should bring a water bottle.
Cost is $30 per player, $50 for two siblings and $70 for three siblings. Signups can be done online at active.com or by mail to 1 Tiger Way, Roseville, CA. 95678 with check payable to Roseville High School. There also will be on-site registration on the first day of the camp.

Woodcreek announces girls basketball league
Woodcreek High School’s girls basketball program will hold its Little Lady Timberwolves youth league on four consecutive Saturday mornings — Jan. 19 and 26 and Feb. 2 and 9.
The league is open to girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. The Woodcreek coaching staff and players will teach basic offensive and defensive fundamentals during each 90-minute session, a combination practice and game. Divisions will be split up by grade: K-2, 3-4 and 5-6.
The pre-registration price is $60 by Dec. 20. Late registration, which costs $75, will be held at 8 a.m. Jan. 19 in the Woodcreek gym.
