Roseville golfers win First Tee event at Woodcreek
Ashley Noda of Roseville won the girls overall championship and Clare Sorensen won the 15-18 division at The First Tee tournament Thursday at Woodcreek Golf Club. Each shot 74.
Nichole Cruz finished second in the 15-18 group with a 76, and Roseville High School golfer Virgie Velasquez shot a 79.
Emilee Hoffman won the girls 12-14 division with an 85, one stroke better than Neeve Chen’s 86. Natalie Pietromonaco shot an 88 for third.
Eric Tam shot a 2-under-par 70 to claim the boys overall championship.
Alex Dow won the boys 16-18 title with a 1-under 71, followed by Justin Raskin at 72 and Christopher McKnight at 74.
Conner Day and Charlie Cameron tied for the 14-15 crown at 74, and Conner Estrada fired a 75.
Joshua Sedeno shot 75 to score a one-stroke victory in the 12-13 group. Bryan Baumgarten and Jason Smith each shot 76.
