Roseville formalizes partnership with Sac State
City Manager Ray Kerridge: ‘It’s going to be a successful outcome’
California State University, Sacramento President Alexander Gonzalez, Roseville Mayor Pauline Roccucci and City Manager Ray Kerridge signed a memorandum of understanding Wednesday at the Blue Line Gallery.
The Roseville City Council unanimously approved the partnership between the city and university April 4 to identify shared opportunities within the region, including the possible expansion of Sacramento State's local presence.
"Sac State has a number of strengths," Kerridge said during the signing ceremony. "It has its academic strength, its research strength. And we in Roseville have a reputation for being able to get things done. I think when you put those two together it's going to be a successful outcome."
