Roseville falls to Rio LInda

Rio Linda 21, Roseville 7 Last night, the Tigers kicked off the season with a loss at Rio Linda, 21-7. The Tigers were plagued by turnovers totaling five in the game including one on downs. “You just can’t win games turning over the ball that many times,” Tigers’ head coach Larry Cunha said. “It was a poor performance.” Aaron Wagoner carried the rushing load netting 115 yards on only 15 carries while quarterback Mike Moreno gained 143 yards through the air on 9-22 passing. Running back John Rapp scored the only touchdown for the Tigers on a three-yard rush in the second quarter.
