Roseville bank robbed Tuesday

Roseville police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon. According to a Roseville Police Department press release, the robber walked into the River City Bank on the 3900 block of Douglas Boulevard carrying a metal clipboard with a note attached demanding money. No weapon was seen. After presenting the note to a bank employee, the robber took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran out of the bank toward Sierra College Boulevard. No associated vehicle was seen. There were no reported injuries during the robbery. Officials describe the robber as a white male in his 50s or 60s, 6 feet tall with a medium build, wearing eyeglasses, a white long-sleeved dress shirt with a black tie, blue jeans and a black Oakland Raiders ball cap over short salt and pepper hair Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916) 783-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
