Rocklin resident shot

A Rocklin resident driving near the intersection of Sunset and Blue Oaks Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Sunday was shot by unknown suspect(s), reports Rocklin Police Lt. Lon Milka. Immediately afterward, the victim drove himself to Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. “As far as we know, they were not life-threatening injuries,” Lt. Milka said. “He could be released from the hospital today (Monday).” After receiving the report of a shooting, officers searched the area in an attempt to locate the suspects, but were unsuccessful. A canvass of the neighborhood was also conducted to check for additional victims, but none were found, Lt. Milka continued. “It has been a tough case to investigate, but we have some leads,” he said.
