Rocklin man allegedly draws gun at Roseville impound yardBy: Press Tribune crime desk
Around 6:30 p.m. on May 5, Rocklin resident Damon Lynch Jr. stopped by a tow yard on Tahoe Avenue in Roseville to reclaim a car that had been towed after a reported DUI incident. Police said Lynch first tried to pay his towing and storage fees with credit cards that were declined — and then allegedly pulled a gun on the automotive employees. The Lynch reportedly used the weapon to force employees to give him his vehicle back. Roseville police officers soon located Lynch in a bar on Pacific Street, arresting him without. The officers said they located a handgun hidden in a shed on Ash Street which matched the firearm allegedly used at the tow yard. Lynch, 21, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and carjacking.
