Residents are invited to talk trash during a community workshop hosted by the Western Placer Waste Management Authority Thursday, Nov. 17, to discuss odor and other operational issues. The agency owns and operates the Western Regional Sanitary Landfill, the Material Recovery Facility and a compost facility near Highway 65 between Roseville and Lincoln. The regional waste management authority is comprised of Placer County and the cities of Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln. Over the past several years, the agency has received complaints about odors. Based on a recent community survey, the agency decided to schedule a workshop to hear more about residents’ concerns. The workshop will include updates on current projects, break-out sessions, and a question-and-answer period. ~ Staff report ---------- Western Placer Waste Management Authority community workshop When: 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 Where: 3033 Fiddyment Road in Roseville Info:
