Roseville and Granite Bay residents: Don’t forget to vote in the election on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Roseville City Council has three seats up for grabs, with the terms for Councilwoman Carol Garcia and Mayor Pauline Roccucci coming to an end, and Councilman John Allard terming out of office. Seven candidates are running: Garcia, Roccucci, Scott Alvord, Bonnie Gore, Tracy Mendonsa, Phil Ozenick and John Schwartz.
Two seats are open on the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District school board and candidates include incumbents Scott Otsuka and Jeff Randall and newbie Stephanie Dement. The two seats available on the Roseville City School District board were filled with the only two candidates running — incumbent Gary Miller and Jeff Willoughby.
The board of trustees for the Eureka Union School District, with schools in Roseville and Granite Bay, has two seats open. Incumbents Kristie Greiss and Ryan Jones are running, along with Renee Nash.
Roseville Joint Union High School District’s school board has four candidates battling over three seats. They include incumbents Garry Genzlinger, Jan Pinney and Paige Stauss and elementary school board veteran Rene Aguilera.
